Derrick Crutchfield is a 1989 graduate of Tullahoma High School.  He has an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Motlow State Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, and a Master’s Degree in Supervision and Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. 

He started his career in 2000 as a one-on-one Special Education Assistant at Tullahoma High School before moving into the role of classroom teacher in 2001. Mr. Crutchfield was a classroom teacher for ten years before moving into an administrative role.  He has taught at Tullahoma High School, Moore County High School, and Franklin County High School. He was also an assistant football coach at all three schools. Mr. Crutchfield earned his first Assistant Principals position at Franklin County High School in 2011. In 2014, he earned the position of Principal of South Middle School. He returned to Tullahoma High School as an Assistant Principal in 2021.

Mr. Crutchfield served proudly in Desert Storm while in the United States Marine Corps. He is married to Rebecca and they have one son, Malik.  They enjoy spending time with family and riding motorcycles.

Assistant Principal Renee Flowers graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Education from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.  Dr. Flowers taught elementary school in Panama City, Florida, for the first five years of her teaching career.  During that time, Dr. Flowers became a National Board Certified Teacher.  In 2006, she moved to Tennessee with her husband, Brian, and began teaching at Bel-Aire Elementary in Tullahoma.  Dr. Flowers transferred to THS in the Fall of 2018 to lead the T-Lite program.  Besides teaching, Dr. Flowers also coached Cross Country and Track & Field at THS for several years.  Dr. Flowers and her husband have two sons, Fischer and Phineas.  They enjoy spending time together and visiting family and friends.

Assistant Principal Sarah Jane Pickett is a 1988 graduate of Franklin County High School. She has an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Motlow State Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in University Studies, and a Master's Degree in Supervision and Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. 

Ms. Pickett began her teaching career in Coffee County with Freshman and Junior English as well as coaching the swim team. She spent one year at LaVergne High School before returning to her hometown in 2011 and teaching all of the Freshman and Sophomore English classes for Huntland High School.  In 2022, Ms. Pickett came to Tullahoma High School to teach English and was named our newest Assistant Principal for the 2023-2024 school year.

She is widowed and has two married children and six grandchildren. Ms. Pickett loves adventures, family time, fishing with her daddy, and traveling.

CTE Director Jessie Kinsey graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Maryville College, a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, a School Counseling certification from MTSU, and a Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.  Mrs. Kinsey served as school counselor at all levels for the first 8 years of her educational career in Grundy County.  In 2015, she was appointed as the Director of Schools in Grundy County.  In 2018, Mrs. Kinsey joined the Counseling Department at Tullahoma High School to serve as a school counselor.   Mrs. Kinsey and her husband have three sons, Henry, Garrett and Hayden. She enjoys watching all three of her children play sports, gardening, and listening to all genres of music.
